How it works

A simple path from “this is a mess” to “this is how we work now”.

Eight steps. No mystery methodology. You will always know what we are looking at, what we recommend, and what happens next.

  1. 1

    Digital Audit

    Review how work happens now

We look at the current website, systems, spreadsheets, paperwork, workflow, staff processes and pain points. The point is to see the real process, not the official one.

  2. 2

    Recommendations

    A clear proposed next step

You receive a problem summary, a proposed solution, a priority list, estimated timeline, estimated cost and the impact we are aiming for.

  3. 3

    Design

Shape the system before it is built

Wireframes, system architecture, user journeys, database design and content structure, so everyone can see what is being made.

  4. 4

    Development

    Build the website or system

We build in Django and modern front-end practice: semantic HTML, accessible CSS, and only the JavaScript the interface actually needs.

  5. 5

    Testing

Check it works for real people

We test mobile and desktop, forms, permissions, accessibility, security and performance before anything goes live.

  6. 6

    Migration

    Move existing content and data

Lists, documents and records are brought across with mapping, checks and a rollback plan if something does not land cleanly.

  7. 7

    Training

Make sure the team can run it

Staff and volunteers get practical training, not a 40-page manual written for a different product.

  8. 8

    Support

    Keep it working

Hosting, updates, small changes and a named route for when something needs attention.

Next step

Start with a digital audit.

You do not need a finished brief. You need a clear picture of the current process.
